Dr. George Mednick is a graduate of the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry. He also graduated from The University of Michigan, School of Dentistry with a Master of Science degree in Pedodontics or Pediatric Dentistry. He has been on the faculty of the University of California, School of Dentistry, and has lectured widely to professional and parent organizations on the topic of pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Mednick was the first pediatric dentist office in Santa Clara. Dr. Mednick open his doors to the Santa Clara County community in 1971 and this office has been longest standing dental office in Santa Clara history.
To stay abreast of the latest advances in the profession, Dr. Mednick is a member of and attends meetings of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara County Dental Society, the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the California Pedodontic Research Conference and the Santa Clara Valley Pedodontic Academy.
Dr. Mednick was a founding board member of the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose and helped to establish this innovative institution.
Dr. Mednick is married and has two grown, married children. His interests include world travel which has brought him to explore five continents so far. He is an amateur producer and editor of travel films. For recreation, he enjoys jogging, bicycling, back-country hiking and adventure.
