Please call us 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to notify us 48 hours prior to your appointment will result in at $50 cancellation fee

Treatment appointments for young children and those who require sedation will be scheduled in the morning hours. Experience has proven that young children do much better and appointments are easier when your child, the doctor, and the staff are fresh.

Recall appointments are made four to six months in advance, at the time of the visit, for your convenience. We highly recommend setting up the recall appointment at the time of service to ensure that you are able to get your requested time since appointments are scheduled far in advance.

We ask parents with children under the age of 18 remain on the premises during their treatment time or provide a contact number where they can be reached immediately.

*The first appointment in the morning or in the afternoon is almost always the best for on-time performance.

*We provide excused absence forms for your child's school.

Our office is experienced at managing dental claims for all dental insurance plans. We will help you to understand how to maximize your benefits and minimize your out of pocket expenses whenever we can. Dental claims are submitted electronically the day services are provided for prompt processing. To allow us to be efficient on your behalf, we ask that you provide the following information to us prior to your first visit:

  • Name of the insured person (the parent  or guardian with the insurance policy)

  • Date of birth and social security number of the insured person (Note: this information is strictly protected for your security.  All written documents are shredded when no longer needed)

  • Employer name

  • Insurance group number

  • Insurance company name and phone number

  • Patient’s full legal name

  • Patient’s date of birth

TIP: It is essential for you to make sure your child is listed on your insurance policy prior to coming for the first visit.

Otherwise, you may not be eligible for any insurance benefits for the visit. It is easy to do so by calling the customer service number for your insurance company (NOT the human resources department of your employer). This is a great opportunity for them to be of service to you by explaining your particular plan and your benefits.

The amount of coverage varies widely among the different insurance plans.

Most insurance plans allow you to freely choose the dentist you care to see. Some plans, though, may try to encourage you to seek care at certain “in network” offices. While your out of pocket costs may be lower, your ability to freely choose a qualified pediatric dentist may be restricted. Even if we are not in your network, we are still able to treat your children and process claims that are paid at the fee schedule of your plan.

(Note: Your out of pocket costs may be higher for an out of network provider)

Contact customer service at your insurance company for information about your plan.
