"I strive to treat each and every child with the compassion and integrity as I would my own family."

Dr. Elizabeth Ng was born and raised in the Peninsula Bay Area. She attended UCLA and graduated with honors in Bioengineering. She was an undergraduate researcher in the department and her senior Capstone team diagnostic device placed first in the annual Bioengineering symposium. In addition to academics, Dr. Elizabeth enjoyed mentoring in a student-adoptee organization on campus- China Care Bruins

After college, Dr. Elizabeth attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she was President of the Student Chapter of American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and co-founder of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) chapter. In her time there, she conducted research on diversity in dentistry, participated in diversity pipeline programs, and the ADEA fellowship program.

Following dental school, Dr. Elizabeth was delighted to return to California to complete a dual pediatric dental residency and master's program at UCSF. This three year program included extensive training in trauma management, full-mouth rehabilitation under general anesthesia, comprehensive treatment planning with oral conscious sedation, and providing care in a variety of private and community based clinics. Dr. Elizabeth also traveled to Washington, D.C. and Sacramento to lobby on behalf of pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Elizabeth's love of volunteering and being an engaged dental provider has led her all over the world, from community clinics in Massachusetts, to the Navajo nation in Arizona, and the remote Panajachel, Guatemala. Beyond dentistry, Dr. Elizabeth's passions include anything dog related, travel, watercolor, calligraphy, and sustainability issues as it pertains to food.

Dr. Elizabeth is a proud and active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the UCSF Pediatric Dentistry Alumni Association. She is fluent in Mandarin and Spanish.
